Krav Maga LE Certification course

• Section 1- De-escalation 
• Section 2- Combatives/Self Defense
• Section 3- Handgun Defense, Disarms, and Retention 
• Section 4- Long gun Threats and Disarms

Course Description: This MCOLES-approved 5-day 40-hour Krav Maga LE Certification course is designed to train and certify the attending Officer to instruct Krav Maga Defensive Tactics to their fellow Officers within their department. The course will focus on the physical interaction between Officers and Subjects in a variety of fact-based scenarios. Officers will be trained from first contact to arrest and control of the subject in each segment of training.

Curriculum: De-escalation tactics and techniques, Proper Distance Control, Combatives, Defense and Countering of Strikes and Grabs, Basic Self Defense tactics and strategies against chokes, bear hugs, ground fighting, Handgun Defense and retention, Long gun threats and retention, and Arrest and Control

Gear:

Officers need to bring full duty belt (emptied of all items– Taser, spray, radios, etc.), Blue training gun that fits their holster (Some will be available glock, sig sauer), multiple shirts, pants are recommended, and 2 pairs of handcuffs and keys.
