INTERNATIONAL SELF-DEFENSE
EXPERT DARREN LEVINE APRIL 29th-30th
April 24, 2017, Wixom, Michigan—-Krav Maga Great Lakes is proud to host internationally
renowned self-defense instructor Darren Levine this Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th.
Levine will lead a two-day seminar that trains both professionals and amateurs on how to address
both active shooter and potential abduction situations.
“Krav Maga Great Lakes is thrilled to be hosting Darren Levine,” remarked the center’s Owner
and Chief Instructor Mike Berean. “Having trained with Darren, I am proud to share his expertise,
insight and incredible knowledge with Metro Detroiters wanting to learn advanced techniques
for dealing with life-threatening situations.”
The two-day seminar starts on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Wixom center, located at 48909 West Road,
and runs until 4 p.m. each day. The fee for the weekend session is $249, and can count toward KMW

The Chief Instructor of Krav Maga Worldwide, Levine is one of the highest-ranked Krav Maga
instructors in the world. He received extensive training from Imi Litchtenfeld, the creator of
Krav Maga, and is the recipient of one of only two Founder Diplomas issued by Lichtenfeld.
An internationally recognized self-defense and counterterrorism expert, Darren Levine
has taught thousands of civilians and police officers, as well as military special operation and
anti-terrorist units around the globe. The recipient of numerous commendations, Levine also serves
as a Los Angeles County prosecutor and an assistant head deputy of the Target Crimes Division.
